Summary
A public memory system for creative work, built to record who made what, how projects came together, and the contributions that usually disappear behind finished objects. Artelier treats authorship as a network of people, tools, projects, and evidence rather than a popularity metric, creating a durable registry for credit, provenance, and collaboration.
Brief
Artelier is a registry for creative work — a structured record of projects, the people and organizations behind them, the tools used, and the provenance connecting them.
Solo project: product concept, information architecture, data modeling, and interface design.
Modeled the relationships first — works, people, tools, organizations, evidence — then designed the interface around those records, iterating on the data structure before the UI.
Project record
01 / Overview
A structured registry for documenting creative projects, contributors, tools, organizations, provenance, and forms of contribution.
02 / The idea
Creative work is often presented as a finished object while its network of labor, influence, tooling, and stewardship disappears.
03 / What I did
Information architecture, data modeling, product definition, and interface design.
04 / How it works
A relationship-based record connects works to people, organizations, processes, tools, and evidence without forcing every project into the same shape.
05 / Why this matters
Creative work is often remembered as an image while the people who designed, fabricated, installed, and maintained it disappear from the record. Artelier connects projects to contributors, roles, organizations, and supporting evidence so recognition can stay attached to the work. Contribution forms ask for a supporting source, contributors can propose corrections to their own roles, and imports, duplicates, proof, and media are reviewed before anything is published. Screens show the current prototype, captured October 8, 2026, not measured product outcomes.
