About / Practice
Working between physical objects and computational systems.
Cameron Chateauneuf is a designer, inventor, artist, and builder. His background crosses architecture, computational design, product development, fabrication, public art, software, and AI-assisted design systems.

The work begins with a question, a physical constraint, or a system that does not yet behave properly. The result might be a hand tool, a geometric agent, a temporary structure, a map, or an object moving through the world.
Rather than separating technical and creative practice, the projects use each to pressure-test the other. Sketches, failed prototypes, fabrication details, software traces, and field tests are treated as part of the work—not material to hide behind a finished image.
The archive therefore includes both resolved work and incomplete experiments. The distinction matters less than the thread connecting them: an interest in how ideas move between geometry, software, materials, machines, people, and the physical world.
